Database - Search Tips
The following explains how the search engine works and will help you get the most out of your Keyword Search.
To perform a search for ALL items in the database, Use the "Click to Search" button.
To NARROW DOWN the search first try searching by Keyword.
For example, to perform a Keyword Search, enter a word or words that could appear in the title, address, or description of the resource item.
If you wanted to find all items that contained the word resume, enter it into the text area.
Keyword Search:
This will display all items that contain the word resume either in the title, address or description.
Your search will be narrowed down even further if you perform a Keyword Search plus an item or items from the drop down boxes.
For example, you could perform a Keyword Search containing the words youth employment and select the drop down item Manitoba in the geographic scope category.

This will display all items that have been coded Manitoba and that contain the words youth employment either in the title, address or description.
